We have started the PAMENCAP in the year 1985 and got it registered on 6th March, 1987 with Regd. No. 473/87, Registrar of Societies (A.P) Hyderabad. With the help of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd., a Special School under Integrated education programme has been started in the year 1988 for the age group 5 to 15Yrs.  The strength of this school is 40. A full-fledged Vocational Training Center and Sheltered Workshop for the age group 15 plus “MANOCHAITANYA” in a separate building with all equipments started on 2.1.1999 and at present the strength of the VTC is 120 above. The  less-fortunate Mentally Retarded persons are Preparing Files, Clip Files, Note books (White & Ruled),Envelopes, File Pads, Cloth-lined Covers, Sweet boxes, Greeting cards, Papads, Candles, Leaf Plates, Chalk-Pieces, Spiral Binding work, Screen Printing, Cake Pads, Lamination, Paper Plates, Waste Paper Recycling Unit(Produce Paper  Board / File Pads, Files from Waste Paper), Xerox etc. and earning up to Rs.30/- per day so as to lead a meaningful life in the Society. Our institution has been appreciated as a model in the Rehabilitation of the Mentally Handicapped by National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad. In addition to the VTC and Special School, we have started early intervention and stimulation programme for the Mentally Challenged aged 0 to 5Yrs MR. We have started Respite Care Center and Hostel, Open employment facilities for Boys. And Girls with Mental Retardation separately. Best Employer National Award to PAMENCAP, Premlatha Peshawaria National Award to 'Manochaitanya', National Award and Adarsha Vanitha Award to MS. Durga Prasanna, 3 State Awards to 'Manochaitanya', Mr.V.Praveen Kumar, Mr.J.Durga Prasad and National Abilympics Award to Mr.J.Durga Prasad. “Best Employer” National Award to PAMENCAP, Godavarikhani for the year 2006 constituted by Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India at New Delhi and presented by Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam his Excellency Hon’ble President of India. ‘Manochaitanya’ V.T.C-cum-Sheltered Workshop for 15 plus Mentally Challenged Persons, Open Employment Creation Programme, Paper Plate Making Unit, Waste Paper Recycling Pulp Unit, Music Classes, Karate, Dance, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Parents Counseling and Psychological Assessment and Guidance, Long Stay/Hostel/Permanent Shelter with help of National Trust, New Delhi has been started.
